Long-Term Care & Maintenance Guide
Keep your LEGO light kit shining bright and working perfectly for years with these simple, professional care tips：
1. Power Usage Rules- Do NOT leave the lights turned on 24/7 continuously. We recommend turning them off for 6-8 hours every day to let LEDs rest, which greatly extends their lifespan.
- For USB-powered kits: Use a standard 5V low-output adapter, avoid fast charging/wall chargers with too high current, this will burn out LEDs easily.
- For battery packs: Remove batteries if you will not display the set for more than 2 weeks, to prevent battery leakage and wire corrosion.
2. Wire & Structure Protection- Never bend, twist or pull the thin LED wires with force. Do not squeeze wires tightly between LEGO bricks.
- When dusting or moving your build, hold the whole brick frame gently, do not drag or tug on the light cables.
3. Daily Cleaning & Dust Prevention- Dust is the #1 killer for dim lights! Use a soft microfiber cloth or low-pressure air blower to gently clean dust off LEDs and gaps regularly.
- Never use liquid cleaner, water or wet wipes directly on the light circuit parts.
4. Environment Placement Tips- Keep your display away from direct strong sunlight, high humidity, heat sources (heaters, lamps) and window edges.
- Sunlight will fade LED colors, and damp environment will cause circuit failure over time.
5. Regular Quick Check-Up- Once every 1-2 months, gently check all connector plugs are tight and not loose.
- If you see flickering lights, turn off power immediately, inspect the connection points, do not keep it powered on.
6. Repair & Warranty Support- All our light kits come with 1-year official warranty for any non-human-caused quality failure.
