GO BACK TO THE 1969s WITH THE LEGO CHEVROLET CAMARO Z28 10304 SET MUSCLE SPORTS CAR.

ICONS series: designed to replicate real-world classic vehicles, landmarks and other objects

Originally developed by Chevrolet under the codenames "Wildcat," "Chaparral," and "Black Panther," the Camaro was introduced on June 28, 1966, as a direct competitor to the Ford Mustang. Since all Chevrolet models at the time had a name that began with a "C," the Camaro was chosen. Chevrolet general manager Elliott M-Ace had a legendary answer to a reporter's question about the Camaro: "A small, vicious animal that eats wild horses."This classic car has an elegant black body and dark red seats, beautiful American muscles, let's check out more details.

There is good news for all fans of classic American cars. With the LEGO 10304 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28.

LEGO 10304 Camaro Z/28

With the LEGO 10304 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, the collection is now getting even bigger. The designers in Billund took the classic Camaro of the first generation with the facelift from 1969 as a model. The model will consist of a total of 1456 parts, but not all will be installed at the same time. You have the opportunity to customize your Camaro according to your ideas!

The back of the box shows some of the modifications possible for the Camaro, which is why the colors are different on each picture, as you can choose to customize the vehicle with racing stripes in white, dark gray or dark red. In addition, the headlights can be built as open or closed, as well as in a convertible version without a roof.

The "base model" is a black Camaro with gray rally stripes on the hood and trunk. However, since these stripes are not printed or implemented with stickers, but are built from LEGO bricks, the designers have included two more colors. So there are additional bricks that you can use to build the rally stripes in either red or white. You can also decide whether you would rather exhibit a convertible or a coupe, because the roof of the LEGO 10304 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 can be removed if necessary.

The Camaro Z/28 is built entirely in black with a red interior. The scale is 1:13, and its height restores the classic appearance and interior design of the original model. In the car, you can see the simple center console, steering wheel, gear lever, and even the hanging on the rearview mirror. A pair of dice decorations. For a closer look at the details, you can also open the hood to see the refined V8 engine, the rear compartment and doors, the convertible top, and the hidden headlights can all be turned on.

The bottom line is that at least six different models can be built with the set - and that doesn't even include the various license plates. Two of them are also included in the set, a yellow one with the inscription CHTY-69 and a black one with the inscription P4N-T3R.

The iconic "Fuzzy dice" hangs from the mirrors. These fluffy dice were originally a sign of someone's interest in illegal street racing and had their heyday in the days of the Chevrolet Camaro. But today, it no longer has the meaning of the year.

As a little LEGO Easter egg, there's a car magazine on the Camaro's back seat, an apparent nod to the LEGO Model Team theme from 1986 to 1999. This basically formed the precursor to today's LEGO Creators car. On the cover, represented by stickers, you can see the 1995 LEGO 5541 Blue Fury, which was also reissued in 2004 as set number 10151.

A normal steering system to leave room requires new molds not only to have a matching fender shape, but also to account for the inward curvature of the body walls.

For the first time, the Camaro comes with metallic silver rims. This is closer to the chrome model than the flat silver or dark grey rims.
